dropped.

5/14/12. another date to add into my personal history book.

around 6 am this morning, i was officially dropped from the pledge program of alpha kappa psi. not only am i no longer pledging, but i am also prohibited from ever joining this fraternity in the future.

i’m not angry. i mean, it kinda sucks to have a month’s worth of my life—literally the past 4 weeks, 30 or so days, 700+ hours—stripped away from me. all that time was spent working towards the goal of crossing into the fraternity after 6 weeks. so yeah, it kinda sucks since i was already 2/3 of the way there haha.

but i don’t regret it. honestly, i don’t. it was an interesting experience that taught me a lot of things and allowed me to meet a bunch of really amazing people. there’s really no experience that can compare to pledging for a business fraternity. i’m glad i had this opportunity.

lol long story short: shit happens, life goes on. “everything happens for a reason.” never really been a believer in that saying, but i’d like to think it applies to this situation.

i have a month left of school to salvage my shitty ass grades, go to the gym, and just live my life. in other words, i’m back! :)
